Recently my 96 Subaru Outback has started making this clicking noise but only when i'm accelerating left. It is especially noticable in wide smooth curves and i can't figure it out. as soon as i let off the gas it stops then starts back when i accelerate. I read something about loose stabilizer bar bushing clamps but i'm at a loss here

 

perhaps you checked this already. is the clicking sound audible only in low speed (~10mph), and are they in sync with speed (i.e., speed up when your car speed up)? if so, check the drive axel's outer join boot (cv joint boot) for any crack/slit. if the boot is so damaged, you will need to replace the axel.
