4 wrecks, all cars were totaled

it goes down to 0points, for the first time since 2 weeks after getting my liscence!
slow down!

As for the original question: wait a few years. They only look at the past 5 years of your driving record.

Your state has a large effect on car insurance rates. I am living in New Jersey with only a 2 point ticket in the last five years and I'm paying $500 a month. I'm desperately trying to find a better deal. The good news is, I'll be 25 in 2 months.

edit: This is on a 2005 Toyota Prius, not the WRX

Car Info: totaled
yea im 17 i was driveing on a curvy road semi in my lane, i went in ditch(if you can even call it that) to evoid head on, over corrected went off oposite side of road and hit a tree. 2000 celica totaled. Now my insurance is 500 a month and im on with my parents 2 cars 3 drivers and still its at 500$.
My claim for my $$ is still going through and its really bad. The body shop says they spent 5000 before they discovered the car was totaled. Insurance company says they wont pay for the same car twice. And thus are takeing 5000 off of what i should be getting. And we baught the car a month before accedent for 13000
they are saying 12000-5000= 7000$> IM GETTING PURE ****ED.

How was that your fault that they didn't total the car when it should have been? They are suppose to be the expert.

Angry

Im not really sure, They had us sighn a paper allowing them to tear down the car to look at evrything. Then after they started working on it and fixing it they found damage to the suspencion and front axel. When they found it we told them to stop wornking on it because we think its totaled, and they say no its not. It was within like 200$ of being totaled by there estimate and then the insurance company estimated it 3 days later or something.
Insurance company said they already paid the body shop also.
The insurance company inspected my car to estimate the amount it was worth when they did so they forgot to include abs,cd player, sun roof, and a couple of other things i cant remember. Its realy just pissing me off.
We will be takeing it to small claims quart or further if it comes down to it.

And they are more than dubbling my insurance WTF. Its at 11k evry year!!! My mom gets paid 50k evry year (she is a teacher). Sound like i need to get a job really soon.
