driving on spare

Should WRX be driven on spare tire if OEM wheels have been plus sized? Could AWD system be damaged if vehicle is driven on spare? Thanks.

dont do it. if you have to drive on the spare, drive slow and take it home til you get the tire fixed. I believe all wheel/tire sizes need to be within 1/4 inch of each other (check the owners manual). Yes, damage can occur..differentials I think. This is because one wheel will be spinning faster than all the wheels...not good on awd.

If I get caught with a flat or something, Im calling a flat bed!

In a word, yes. You could have a 17 as a spare although it will make your trunk a little more full...
