Hey everyone - My wife's 2002 Forester is ready for it's 60,000 mile service. What have you been paying for this service? The dealer here wants $399+tax for the regular service and $498+tax for the severe duty deluxe service. Only difference is that the severe duty includes 1) service automatic transmission fluid and 2) drain and refill front and rear differential fluids. Just curious what your dealers are charging. Are these prices negotiable at dealerships? I'd like to find a good local mechanic to do it for cheaper if possible but I don't know of any good ones yet. Thanks for any input.
