Question 30,000 mile service?

does any body here hit 30,000 miles olredy? i know some of u guys hit that mark olredy. where did u guys got ur service? and wut to change? preaty much i think its the trans fluid, def fluid, and i dont know the rest. can u guys give me some info.

i havent hit that nark yet but ill probably change out tranny and diff fluid. might also swap out fuel filter.

Your lucky, I just happen to have my manuel in front of me. Replace the following--brake fluid, coolant, fuel filter, air cleaner element(air filter), oil and filter, and spark plugs unless you have a turbo or 3.0L(they are recommended at 60,000) Inspect the following--drive belts, camshaft drive belt, trans./diff. lubricants, brakes and lines, clutch, fuel lines, coolant system. My thought is that you should always be aware of the condition of your car, this list above should be common sense.

yeah im about to hit that mark on my car so ill b changing all of those, but here is the Q now. how much do dey charge on those type of service and where can i get it from? ypaho? the oldshuman dealer?


did anybody had their car services yet on this island?

pretty much all the dealers went through a change in ownership, so the service that people are used to might be diff.

i think a while back it was like $350? or somewhere in that general area. heck of a lot cheaper to do it yourself.

hey wassup dude, well I hit 30,xxx on my suby. Brought it in to y-pahu subaru and they charge $379.95. Didnt have the enough so gonna do it myself as soon as the '04 repair manual comes in. If you wanna do your maintainance on your car with mines. Let me know dude and any one else. That is when the repair manual comes in like a week or so... Laters and PEace

yeah i know it would b cheaper to do it my self but the problem is not having tools.

damn it i should wish that so i can get it on christmas day.

hey man just ask anybody on i club if you could borrow tools(make sure you give them back), or host/30k miles service day install day...

always cheaper to do it yourself...
