Check out the problems the VW guys are having (check engine lights are a regular occurance with many of my friends' VWs), or maybe talk to a Bimmer owner (how many times in the shop *this* year). Sure, there are some issues with some Subarus, but it's not any worse (maybe even better) than the bazillionth recall on the Focus or exploding firestone tires, or...?

That is totally true, Subaru is a great car, just the tranny is not the best.

My friend has an S2000. Its a really awesome car! The only problem is that its only a two seater. I have family and friends that I need to ship around and a two seater will not work for me.

S2000 = drooling. Hands down one of the funnest cars I have ever driven.

I sold my Subie for a house purchase but I would definitely buy one down the road. Probably not as radical as my WRX, but sticking with the wagon theme for sure. The Forester XT is a saucy option

Yep that's what I hear, but I have no family, except my mom basically, so I won't be hauling around alot of people and stuff so luckily it fits me.

If it works go for it. Try and test drive if you havent already. Also, I know that the 04s have more torque so that it feels more natural in regular driving conditions (whereas the older years feel more like strapping ourself onto a CBR900)

Enjoy!

Dunno...

The WRX (and the rest of the lineup) is incredible value for money, but to get it that way, they cut corners, and their crappy 'abuse' response is part of that.

I'm kinda on the fence because if I had bought, say, an Audi S4, I would expect it to be awesome throughout. I have to cut the WRX some slack because it is a cheap car.

I'm tempted to go Spec Miata racing. If I do, I'd have to sell the WRX and get a tow vehicle.

Thats true, the newer ones are a faster than the older. Reving to 9k is just awesome!

Smile Legacy Gt

I cant wait for my next car, I want the Legacy GT. I just saw the new one on the road a few weeks ago and headed to the dealer right away to find out what it was all about.

How much was the dealer asking for the Legacy GT?
