Yep I sure would, I love that car, some stuff bugs me, but the good is great. The bad can be fixed/replaced. When my tranny starts going bad I am just gonna have the STi R/A gearset waiting. Cheers

If I waited for another year, I'd probably be in a Z33 Fairlady (AKA 350Z) right now. If I had waited for 2 years, I'd probably be in a Lancer Evolution VIII. And if I had been 5 inches shorter and about $5000 richer, I'd be in an S2000 for da hunnies

I'll be buying another Subaru once this one is paid for (so a few years from now). Don't know which I'll get - I'll be, umm..27 or 28 by then so I might be in need of something bigger. Most likely a Legacy GT

Yes, I would buy again. I have a MY02 and the wife drives a MY03. Problems occur with all vehicle brands and types. It just matters how much it takes out of you (time/money/frustration) Brian

I'd probably not buy a subaru again unless I had the money to go for the STi, i'm having my first transmission problem, 4th grinding with only 15,000 miles on my car, I'm not too happy with that, I accidently didn't get it in gear all the way and what happened I got a grind now, after maybe 2 or 3 total misses, I've done that a million times more in my mom's xterra and at one point missed it so bad I thought I killed the thing, but no that tranny is still great, shoot if I did that in my subaru I'd probably woulnd't have a tranny under my car anymore. After this car I will be deffinetly adding tranny to the top of my list to look for in a car.

I remember seeing you post up in another thread. That really sucks! I hope that I don't have the same problem when mine gets to 15k. Whats the dealership doing about it?
