windshield wipers
any that ive tried all suck. they work good for the first week or so after i put them on, then it rains and i am dissapointed in their wiping ability and resistance to smearing, i am now a big fan of Rain-x, i rarely use my wipers.
although, i did see some on tv that looked awesome, they have a lifetime warranty on the wipers, not just the metal part like other brands, but a full warranty on the rubber blade too. now...if i could only remember what brand they were...

I bought the Bosch "Micro Edge" advanced wiper system. What a fargin' joke, the only thing advanced about them was the price. They were O.K. for about two months and now they are in worse shape then the stock ones were after a year. I'll never buy any bosch windshield wipers again and would never reccommend them to anybody. Surely there must be a decent wiper blade out there somewhere. Does anybody have a suggestion?
i got a set of the bosch micro edge wipers about 4 months ago and they are working great. every morning when i get out to drive,i just run my fingers along the rubber to clean it, and use plenty of fluid when you use them. mine are working great.

I wiped my blades with a "baby wipe" those wipes you use when changing diapers. A lot of black stuff came off them. They seemed to work better after I did that. I have those "teflon blades". I think the idea is to keep them clean, may be we just need to wipe them with a mild solvent of some type on a regular basis.
