Its love from the first drive.
Just wait till you find that first long and twisting road or that back dirt road you used to avoid after a light rain, A feeling will come over you makeing everything right with the world and nothing will wipe the smile off your face. We all know that feeling and thats why we wave at eachother in passing all the time
Once you feel it you like the rest of us will be hooked for life and I for one would not have it anyother way.

I was lucky enough to buy my WRX from a school teacher in western VA and had a nice trip cack to eastern Carolina to become aquanted with my new ride. I can say that you won't ever know how awsome that car is until you take it on some really curvy off camber roads at no quite legal speeds (but we would NEVER break the law in any way ). I have owned a 1990 300zx, a 94 honda Del Sol VTEC, a 91 rx7, VW Corrado, a 89 240sx, and a chevy lumina minivan and driven them all harder than most people would dare push a car and the Scooby is way more rewarding. Sounds kinda gay but I never had a car give me a hug like this one. IT'S AWSOME. And two weeks afer you buy it you hit a deer and screw up your fender you don't know heartache.

i agree with big_dewey. subarus are the best in corners. i haven't driven quite the same cars he has, but i have driven an A6 quattro, two different passat 1.8t's (one brand new) a passat VR6 and some others (none belonged to me...) all pretty hard and fast in the twisties. My mom's new outback is more fun than all of these other than the new 1.8t, but i prefer my OBS to any of them. it has the least power of the bunch, but it feels like you can dive in fastest and coming out of a hard corner at 55 or so taching 4500 it'll take back up fast. i love it and don't think i will drive non subarus for quite a while
