This is also true for my '04 Legacy, which leads me to believe it is true for all models with keyless entry.

somewhere in the manual it reports that it does this to help you find your car if you are in a big parking lot and can't find your car. the lights flash 3 times and the horn honks. my OCD behavior makes me do this all the time too.

of course since i have an STi all i have to do is look for the black car with the obnoxiously big wing and oh, there's my car!

LOL. I'm guilty of also always doing it

My friend says "It's to trick people into thinking you have an alarm if you don't" lol.

But i believe you use any pin or needle, stick inside the nozzle and just swing it any way you want it to point... haha im sure its worth a try and i think i heard it goes like that somewhere.
That's why I said "yes I know how to aim the nozzles." Yes, this does work quite well.

Or you can take 'em out and put blue LEDs there, and get some chrome spinners

^^^^ lol.

Try adjusting your steering wheel to the lowest position that is still comfortable, the response feels alot more positive at lower positions.. at least for me.

hmm there is alot of good info posted up on here already.

1st off, i can second the water thing. my car has had water over the hood (for couple seconds, i wasnt bout to stop in the gian puddle)

2nd on some GL wagons they have adjustabel air suspension which can give you an additional 2 inches ground clearance.

3rd by removig a front axle on a dual range 4wd subaru it becomes RWD.

4th in impreza there is enough room in the spare compartment for coiled jumper cables, and a 20' tow strap w/ hooks.

regarding oiled filters the KN oil will make the MAF throw a code (experience). the car will run fine however the idle wil be messed up. DO NOT attemp to clean the maf w/ a q-tip and rubbing alcohol. (some models). the filiment on the resistor is very fragile. New MAFs are VERY expensive.

with adequate practice front axles can be changed in 15-30 minutes. valve covers can be changed (removed, cleaned, reinstalled) in approx 1 hour. (on older models w/ less plastic in engine bay,not sure about turbo models).

the impreza LX has fold down back seats, yes the entire back seat folds down.

you can order KYB AGX shocks through your subaru dealer.

a spare quart of oil will not fit inbetween the oem battery and the front headlight in RSs.

in GC imprezas there is enough room under the door trim to run a 4 ga power line.

subaru does not sell door skins, you must buy the whole door.

the door off of a coupe is 53" long.

when a bolt is dropped in a subaru engine bay it will automatically be drawn to the front crossmember.

a subaru can run (when cared for properly, and driven corectly) over 200,000 miles on original spark plugs, and clutch.

If I'm not mistaken the keyless entry only comes with those that have the security feature. locking your car once enables it also if I'm not mistaken.

This is true for most cars now, until u buy an aftermarket radio (well, I'm not sure about them all) My legacy now has to be on for my radio to be on.
