Hey, everyone post a thing or 2 that you can do to your Subaru that not everyone always knows about, or things your Subaru does, or things about your Subaru.
1 - Day Time Running Lights, can be disconnected from the glove box.
2 - Imprezas have parking lights on the steering column, so that your car will not get hit if it is in a dark area. (makes your car visible)
3 - All your exterior lights shut off, once you remove your key from the ignition
4 - If you do not close your gas cap tightly, you can get a Check Engine Light
5 - One way to get rid of a Check Engine Light is to disconnect one of the battery terminals and then reconnect it.
6 - Rear seat doesn't fold down, but can be taken out easily by two bolts below the seats.
7 - If your Subaru is still under warranty, Subaru road side assistance gives you 2 gallons of fuel for free, if you run out.
8 - Rays makes our stock wheels.
9 - The 4EAT has a 40/60 Front/Rear Torque Split, while the MT has a 50/50.
10 - The hole cut out thing in the bumper on the passenger side, is for a tow hook (which is in your Subaru tool kit).

Ok ... uum how about this one:
On the 4EAT, if you get a flat, don't forget to pull out the fuse to make your car a FWD and then mount the spare. That way you won't damage your AWD system. Also it is better to make sure you mount the donut in the rear (that means swapping with a good rear if you have a front flat).
Manual owners just swap and drive away

No donuts for subarus

I know at least my 04 wrx has a spare thats the same diameter as all the other tires so it doesn't affect the AWD system. I assumed it would be true for all subarus.
