The new ones don't look anywhere near as good as my old V
The Sti is MUCH cheaper to service (EVO about 500GPB every 4500 miles)
The boxer engine sounds so much better
With the pro-drive pack, the Sti has the same 300hp as my V

Hey guys, remember me? I stopped posting here, because my hopes for getting the WRX were subsided, and I forgot about it, just figured I'd wait a few years then trade the Lancer. Well thats changed, again, like always. I went to my local Subaru dealer today, but closed (of course on Sunday) and saw a blue 04 rex (sick!!) with a sticker price of $27,500!!!?? Is this a good price? It didnt have any extras, I dont think. I'm going to call another dealer in South Carolina tomorrow, and see what they got. I'd like to get a red 5spd rex, for about $25,500. Whats about the right price if I got, moonroof, and cf dash kit thing? Thanks

if you're gonna be spending 30k out the door just go for the evo or STi which ar 31-34k. a wrx should be about 24-26k...
