Insurance Update
I was signing up for Home Owners Insurance today and inquired about the STi.
I am happy to say it is in Allstate's computer systems. I got a quote and it is as follows: Around $750 every 6 months, and the regular WRX would be 640.
To put it in perspective, I pay $407 now for my 96' Impreza. Actually that 750 is kinda high now that I think about it...
Anyone else getting numbers?

I will be on the phone to my allstate agent tomorrow! Maybe with the other three cars I have on my policy I will get a discount. I was really hoping for something around $700 every 6 months, so it sounds like I'll be happy. Do you mind me asking how old you are? I'm 25 with no accidents in the past 4 years, and a drivers record that was wiped clean of any points two years ago.

Really hate the whole age discussion but it definately is important. I am 16 (17 may 3rd
) and yes, nearly everyone drives like a dumbass if they are going to highschool.
Sorry to make generalizations but what i've noticed is anyone with a truck, especially if it is modded in any way drives like they own the road. I live in Alaska so a lot of trucks around.
Same with most riced out cars...
Sure, I might drive like I dont care or whatever at times but it is definately a lot less than most of the people out there. I have an Accord right now (05 STi in a little more than a year) so ya i know its not the fastest, why race it? Also i found that taking a driving class ($500) helped me learn soo much more than most of the kids out there.
I have friends that have an M3, Lightning, Fastest WRX in the state, etc and they sure as hell know what they're doing and dont drive like dumbasses.
Ya 15 is too young, so is 16, no matter how mature you are, experience is everything. I would say 18 minimum but also should have taken a driving and/or rally class.
FYI, I wrote this like 10 hours ago, dont ask..
