Trouble with a Dealer installed aftermarket car alarm...

Ok so when I bought my car new from the dealership it had an after market car security system on it.

This isn't the normal type like an alarm, rather it has a chip that you put in to a slot so the car can be started. With out the chip in place the engine is immobilized.

The system now seems to be giving me some problems, as well as misplacing one of the chips. I think that I may have loosened a wire when I was installing my headlight leveler.

The word Star Gard is written above the chip but that is the only evidence I have of the manufacturer. I tried searching google for the manufacturer but came up with nothing.

I am not sure what to do, can I get this removed? Where can I get it removed at? Or should I looking in to getting the system repaired?

I think he's talking about the chip that works in conjunction with the alarm system. It's basically a kill switch. Without plugging the chip into a slot, the car won't start.
