Alarm problems

Got a good discussion going on over at the Hawaii forum about factory upgraded alarms. The link is here. Just scroll down until people start talking about alarms.

I was at PT this morning, and one of the guys in my platoon was messing around with the car with the alarm armed. I grabbed my roof rack bars and started rocking the car back and forth at a pretty good rate.

I wasn't too pissed about him rocking the car because I know the guy well and he wasn't hurting anything. I was pissed that my upgraded Automate Alarm I got from Schuman did not go off.

I don't want to go spend another $500 for an alarm when I already have one, because that's $500 I could put to MUCH better use IMHO.

Is there any way to up the sensitivity on the Automate without going back to Schuman? Nothing I've read so far in the instruction book... OK, I didn't really read it, just glanced through it before it disappeared.

Thanks
-Greg
Does anybody have some tips about this? Can't tell you the exact number of the Automate, since I lost the maual. I'm assuming that this is a Subaru-wide factory upgrade, but I could be VERY wrong. Thanks
