Yes I know this. Whats a vette run in the 1/4 a mid to high 12 with any avg driver with a little track time. A 350 whp sti should be able to do the same.

To start off I'm not a ricer. I built a 450+ hp 69 camaro that ran 12's when I was 18.
And your beating this weight to tourqe to power to gearing thing all to hell.
Your not teaching me anything that I don't allready know.
I'm confused to why you keep chime'in in on this.

On a better note, I just did some 10-30mph digs against my buddy. He has a 72 chevelle that hit a 12.6s 1/4 mile and were dead even all 4 times.

What did you have in the '69?

 

it had a 350 4 boltmain, 1.94 dub hump fuelee heads, crane 442-290 cam, edlebrock torker II manifold, 650 single holly ( i know i was starvin it for fuel shoulda went with 750 or so), edlebrock high power coil, 9mm wires, four core radiator, hooker headers, and sonic turbo mufflers it was a beast bro. when it was bone stock it could leave rubber for over 40 feet, so after all the upgrades damn!!! unfortunately i blew the motor revin too high.
