Took advantage of being in the Bay area last earlier this week ... had Shiv dyno tune my WRX and it's dual map EcuTek. 206 HP on the conservative Vishnu Dyno Dynamics.

Can anyone tell me what the speedometer reads red lined in 5th on a dyno ...

btw. Shiv's "test" drive afterwards was worth the price of the dyno tune!

Thanks .... conversion factor for the Dyno Dynamics dyno is 1.4, so I should have around 289 with 94 octane, 273 with 91 octane.

APS up-pipe, APS Aluminum "Y" going from Turbo to STI Intercooler, down-pipe back 2.5" Stromung open exhaust feeding a ProDrive muffler (the Stromung muffler was a bit to loud and dronie for me), EcuTek dual maps. Still need a cat-less down-pipe ...

Rotora Big Brakes, SSR's, Hotchkis lite weight 1" hollow sway bars, Tein S.Tech lowering springs ...

$800 for the initial EcuTek software install ... yes, expensive ... a lot of licensing fee goes to EcuTek ... and then I paid $300 for 1.5 hours of dyno tuning time ... which is relatively inexpensive ... considering dyno "rental" time plus a concentrated 1.5 hours of his tuning ... a good 20 "max revs in fifth" runs.

Yes, I believe Shiv also does Utec tuning ... again ... if you work through his web site ... you will find more answers. Best is to call him ... he and his guys spend a lot of time talking to customers on the phone ... while not being very responsive to email.
