Uh, no. It was only done a couple times and it was FWD not RWD for dyno purposes and requires alot of work to even do it... Just find a 4WD dyno.

hey

only the automatics can pull a fuse. manuals can absolutely NOT use this trick. i dont care what your manual says. towing your car on 2 wheels WILL destroy the center viscous. there are no electronics in a manual tranny....

to use a 2wd dyno you need to install a 2wd front diff. it has been done, but it makes the car, well.. drive like a fwd car.

i did a little test with my 5mt and it does not go into 2wd!! there is no way of doing it without changing a mechanical piece, like the differential.

Dude, wtf is your problem? Do you think im just making this stuff up?

This fuse has been discussed many many times over the few year ive been on the boards (NASIOC and now here) and its a fact, as Josh and msp stated!

Per the owner's manual you cite, you MUST tow your car on a flatbed, or for a VERY short distance in an emergancy (meaning it is dangerous not to move your car) with all 4 wheels on the ground, car in neutral.

I wonder how torque split would work on the manual if you pulled the fuse, in theory, if it even decided to work.
There is no fuse guys. Torque split in a manual Subaru is 50/50, only altering when the limited slip comes into play as you turn.
