Two wheel dyno OK according to Subaru

I don't know if this is old news or not, but if you read the subaru service manual it shows you how to use a 2 wheel dyno. It makes sense. "from the wheels that slip to the wheels that grip..."

That would be ok if you are is making 78hp.

I'd like to see that "procedure" if your car is making 300whp.

that's directly out of my subaru service manual.
made by subaru themselves.
I know it seems kinda wierd.

stock RS's make about 117whp.

hmmm... I really don't know. It'd be interesting to try. The rear wheels would probably jerk around and stuff.

For what its worth, AWD vehicles are exempt from emission testing in WA afaik. I assume that the center differential would either lock to 50/50 or send all the power to the front if it has an open differential. WA does an idle speed emissions check then a 20 mph emissions check so it would probably be ok to spin the wheels.
