we are not going to know the outcome of the Virginia race for quite a while reasons being

1) Canvasing of the poles begins today
2) Canvasing results wont be confirmed untill Nov. 27
3) If on Nov 27 the vote is within 1% by Virginia law a recount can be called for
4) George Allen has already made motions to call for a recount

this wont be decided till right before Christmas, in last years Virginia recount it wasnt completed untill Dec.22
