The problem is, that law won't really prevent abortions, which is the intent. Teenage girls who accidentally get pregnant and don't want their parents finding out are going to find ways around this- usually by going to shady docs who will bend the law. More importantly, the Proposition is probably unconstitutional under Roe v. Wade- right to privacy is the reason cited for not allowing abortion bans in the first place.

No, if the cops went to the perv's house and busted him for online conversations, you would have a point. But these guys are walking into a house expecting to find a lone teenage girl (or boy) who they then EXPECT to have sex with. If you walk into a bank with a loaded gun, do you have to shoot it before you get arrested for attempted armed robbery?
