haha you broke your own tv by not letting it update after you moved things around.


that's happend to me before when i was on comcast. I just let the box sit there for a good 30mins and everything came back.

I let it update and it still didn't work... it was on for 3+ days and all my **** still didn't come back

 

You can imagine the headaches I have when I need an internet connection for a dvice that is not a PC. Both on the install side and support side.


Them: "Do you have windows or Mac?"
Me: "Uh, neither. It's not a computer"
Them: ................................................uh hhhh........
Them: "Let me put you on hold"

i gots sbc dsl. they mailed me a box with a dsl modem and a line splitter. they didn't care if it's hooked up to a computer, router, microwave, etc...

my friend has comcast cable internets. he has his home pc and his work laptop. he has to call tech support every time he wants to connect one of them. he finally bought a router.

weird... when comcast originally set up my cable the guy asked me if he wanted me to set up the cable in the other room, I told him just make the line active and i'll set it up later... he didn't have a problem with that

 

They wouldnt do jack **** at my house without my pc there & logged on.
