there's a difference between offering free stuff and solicitation. he's acting like a telemarketer, and lets face it, nobody likes telemarketers.

lets get this straight fan bois.. im not trashing his tuning, (i did trash him before for not using a wideband while tuning, he now has a wideband.. which is good for you guys). I am trashing the way he conducted himself on this forum in regards to this matter.

What ****ing tuner would hosts pictures, documents, and post on a public forum about how they think some other tuner made a mistake and how much more l33t they are then everyone else...

Its bull**** ed needs to figure out how the **** to integrate with people.. He cam off as a total douche during this whole episode.. And guess what, people such as myself have called him out on it. He could be the ****ing god of tuning for all i care, but if he acts like a douche i am going to call him a douche. And well guess what he acted like a douche, and continues to act like a douche.

I mean come on who the **** calls up one of my buddies and tries to get him to shut me up? WHO? Slick move dip****.. Didnt work just made me think you were even larger of a douche

And he has the time to do that level of tuning because of two things

1. He doesnt have that many customers yet

2. He might as well spend that much time on it, becuase he aint got **** else to do because he prob isnt taking classes this summer..

Like i said before, im not knocking his ability to tune, im knocking his ability to interact with people in a social enviroment, that and his actions and posts on this very forum.

Being a technical genius doesnt mean ****, now being a good techie and having people skills will get you a **** load farther in life.
you know its amazing. You wanted him to be be quiet and act professional in the last big thread and now you come and attack him so he does what you wanted him to do last time staying quiet. There is no reason for ed to come out and talk to you in this thread. Ed just supported the facts in the last one. You guys called bull**** and he proved you wrong every step of the way. Just let it die. And as for the whole he came off as a douche....WHat are you coming off as? Yes i know you are not a vendor(or atleast i dont tihnk you are) but come on man enough is enough. I cant even believe this thread is aloud to be here..but it shows you what this forum is coming to..

You are right about how being a technical genius doesn't mean ***. But having good people skill and being a mindless dumb*** is worse, mind you.

Ed can do this because he is friggin' doing it for the hell of it. It's pretty sad that people are giving him beef for something so inconsequential.

Wait who are we talking about?

Even Dre gave some credit to Ed's potential tuning ability. I assure you, he fully knows what he's doing.

If you logged a couple cars from the same tuner that were having serious problems, I think it would be a moral hazard not to offer free logs to other people with the same tuning. It's a courtesy, and he doesn't want to see anybody's engine blow up any more than they do. Ed would be the first person to say, "wow, you've got a really great tune on here. You should be very happy with it" if that were the case. My impression of him is that he is very, very straight-forward and very honest. I would not worry about this guy fudging the facts to trick people into tunes... it's not his style.

And yes, I would be shocked if Ed poked his head in here. You guys don't deserve the recognition a response from him would imply. He gave you what you wanted in the old thread. There's no sense in beating a dead horse. ...well, besides certain sickos doing it because they find it fun...

...on a side note, I'm mystified as to why certain people haven't been banned/time-out'd and why certain threads haven't been canned. I cannot believe this stuff is okay with the staff over here. It blows my mind. This is why I pretty much only hit up I-Club to do local classifieds stuff... The last thing I want to do is get involved in drama, and here I am

I-club doesn't ban people, its part of the rules that Alex made when he first restarted i-club.

Drama is delt in a "let it all air out" style of policy. If stuff keeps resurfacing (by resurfacing, I mean bumping old threads with inane attacks), they might get locked.

Our members decide what goes on here on the forums, not the moderators. If there is beef, its better to settle it in the open, rather then locking threads and banning users. Banning/time-outs are not permitted here, so I hope you can understand why the moderators haven't done anything yet (though, I'd argue that we have done a lot by letting everyone voice their concerns).

If you, Ed or anyone else has concerns about the moderating in this forum, please PM me. I do take sides on a personal/posting level, but I do my best to seperate that from moderating duties.
