August Photography Assignment

Taken with a Canon EOS Elan II (50), with a Tamron 177D. AF28-80mm f/3.5-5.6
I've had this camera for about 8 years or so and the lens for about 3 years. It still does the job, but I am looking forward to an upgrade at some point in the near future. Thoughts, suggestions?
(FYI, I have a Powershot A630 that more than meets my digital camera needs. Sorry, no flames or debates please, just a personal preference!

Ah well this was somewhat of a flop. Maybe the topic didn't work well for most people? I'll keep doing the themes through the end of the year and see if participation picks up. Get ready for a new one tomorrow!
