September's Photography Assignment: "1,000 Words"
September's Theme: 1,000 Words
We all know the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" and we all have seen those images that can tell story like no other. So lets see some! Feel free to write what you think is the story being told for your picture and the pictures of others.
Rules:
Due Date: September 30th
This isn't a competition, just a themed assignment for those who wish to participate. The only reason there is a due date is to keep the thread from going on and on. Feel free to PM me with options for other themes.
Constructive Criticism
The point of limiting criticism to Constructive Criticism to to keep people from just going "wow, your photo sucks" without offering a means for improvement. You could go "The composition just isn't doing it for me, maybe try moving the subjects face to the left a few inches." It would also nice and helps people receive CC better if you balance a negative with a positive such as "Well the lighting is nice, but the composition just isn't doing it for me, maybe try moving the subjects face to the left a few inches." or "I like the composition overall, but the busy background distracts me from the subject's face.'

Done. Anyone can PM me if they would like something added to the rules/CC definition to help keep the thread organized and on topic.

Yeah, thats where I got the original idea, from a photo forum. Since theres a pretty active photography crowd here I decided to bring the idea over. It's nice to get pictures of things besides cars every once in a while
