What Timer you installing? what year is your WRX? I installed the Blitz DAC II and used the wire harness, made it way easy.

 

its the apxei 2003 wrx i got it in but i can't get it to set i think i got the wrong wire for the parking brack wire...and i bought the hks harness and your right it made it pretty easy but it came with a grey wire and i didn't know what to use it for......if you can help please lett me know

http://www.fastwrx.com/blitdualturt.html *look at bottom of page for install instructions, I am sure cutting these wires will work for the timer you installed also. if the problem is timer not setting, meaning when you arm alarm?, the wire color is actually dark green with blk stripe. The gray wire for the E brake is located way on the side of the E brake lever when you remove top access. look for it. it is kinda hard to get to. Hope this helps..
