Did some more things over the weekend...

Got some LED panels for the dome and map lights.

Map panels needed some massaging.

The old lights and the new lights.

You may notice that the new lights are also black... I finally have all the bits and time to tackle the interior swap.

So much beige.

Final images of the beige.

Took some time getting all the little bits out.

Took out the big bit.

It looks a lot dirtier in person than it does in pictures.

At about this time, I received a delivery.

These were for the project I actually wanted to do.

Interior was put on home. The car is slightly more racecar without the top half of the interior.

Drifted towards no hood show car.

But then glory was found.

And that's where it's at now.

I have 99.9% of the beige removed. And the hole in the hood is gone. I haven't put any of the black in. I need to unbolt the rear set belts. To get to that, I need to remove the rear set cushion. If I'm removing that, I kinda want to remove the rear set backs...

I accidentally more of the interior.

It's really not that bad to drive around.

I still need to remove the front seat belts and then all the beige will be out.

Took off some more bits...

With the bumper off, I had a great view of the remaining shred of my fender liner that is protecting my intake from debris (water).

Bumper came off to make it easier to polish the head lights.

Before:

After:

All back together, it looks so much better.

While my friend was polishing my headlights, I was at the back pulling out more of the interior.

Needed the access to run some wires.

Ran a harness from the reverse lights to the taillights.

With the additional wiring, the car was ready for new taillights.

These are Illumaesthetic taillights. Conceptually, first GR set. Production, second set made. Unlikely to be a third set. However, there are DIY kits available.

On the car, they look pretty good.

All the lighting spans both housings.

I guess I have all the data I would have...

Videos...

ProTip: There's audio now. If you listen, the car may sound... interesting.

Power from GST Dyno

Comparison to last GST tune

Power from Virtual Dyno road pulls

Comparison to previous tunes

I include the Virtual stuffs as they include boost. With all the new stuff, the turbo is the bottleneck. Really no increase in boost from before. However, there's a ~30hp increase. I thought the turbo would be able to do more. But it's spent.

Current power mawds (bold is new)

AEM Cold Air Intake (Ceramic Coated)
Visconti Tuning Speed Density Kit (Hybrid)
AEM IAT and 3.5bar MAP

Cobb 3 port EBCS
IAG Air Oil Separator
Racer X FMIC (Ceramic Coated)

Turbosmart Kompact 50/50 BOV
IAG TGV Deletes
8mm Phenolic Spacers
Injector Dynamics 1300x2 Injectors
GSC S1 Cams 268/268
GSC Behhive Valve Springs
GSC Valves (Intake and Exhaust)
JE Pistons (99.75)
Manley H Plus Rods
STi Crank
King Bearings

Cobb Lightweight Pulley
ARP Headstuds
Tomei Headgaskets
JDM 12mm Oil Pump

Killer B Oil Pan, Pickup, and Baffle.
Invidia Big Tube EL Header (Ceramic Coated)
Invidia Catless Downpipe (Ceramic Coated)

Invidia Q300 Catback

And finally, the next bit is on the way.

Couple things to button up. But it's pretty much ready to go.

Got the car washed up and made it to the track.

Ran into a mild problem during the first session. First time getting towed off the track, ever.

Front bumper was trying to remove itself on track...

During the fourth session, I got shat on by a Lotus.

Overall it was a good day. Conditions were a little damp. For the most part the car ran well. I was a half second off from my PB. My consistency also wasn't very good. But the sessions did seem pretty short.

Futzing with another gauge face.

It's not perfect.

Came up with another concept.
