Awesome man, glad to hear they are working out for you. I had to give them a shot after hearing all the positive feedback on them.

In other news, today I had Custom Alignment press a couple of inner control arm bushings for me on their press. Control arms are now ready for prime time. Hoping to do some suspension work over the weekend and get these guys on.

Got the front end pretty much wrapped up yesterday. Cars getting alot of caster which I might have to reduce since I have the wide rubber underneath. Alignment is really far off at the moment, but got everything bolted on and torqued down on the front. Heres a couple of shots I took this morning when I opened the garage.

added a few more pictures to show how the lip fits with the flares. I had to redrill the lip and I might still add a couple of more bolts in it but for now im moving on to the rear suspension.

love the build. are those karlton flares? too bad you had to get ride of those sti side pieces for the bottom molding, but it matches up with the lip. did you do something to the lip? looks like its sticks out more.. either that or without those sti side pieces it just makes it appear like it stands out more.

Thanks, Yeh those are Karlton wagon flares. I got one of the early sets of them. I plan on painting them once i make sure all the modifications are done and make sure they dont rub on hard turns.

I was a bit bummed I couldnt make the splitters work with the flares. I spent a good bit of time trying to fit them, but in the end i had to ditch them. The lip fit pretty easily without them atleast. I reused the stock bolt holes and added a couple extra holes so it should be pretty close to the original location. Might just be the angles making it look further out. I'll do a proper photoshoot when I finish the car up and pull it out.

I hurt my hand at the end of last month which pretty much stopped me from turning any wrenches over the past few weeks. Today my hand was feeling a bit better so I tried to work on the car a little. Not working very fast but I managed to install my Msi lateral links & trailing arm onto the driverside rear corner. Snapped a couple of pics while I was under there. Slowly making some progress on the suspension.

So, I'm in the market for a new subframe, and am looking at either the Oswald like you have, or the GT Spec 3 piece. Either way I want the GT Spec lower tie brace as well.

What made you go with the Oswald?

- Built to spec on order
- Added jackpoints (very nice)
- 1 piece stiffer design
- Built for ALK (no spacers needed)
- Tabs for fender liners (this was important at one time)
- Lighter ( i believe a pound lighter then the gt spec 3 piece)
