Picked up my flares from Karlton on Friday. Cool guy and the flares look like they will work great. I didnt have alot of time this weekend so I just taped them up quickly and mounted my 285's on there to see how it will look roughly. I still need to add my sti wide track on but the wheels fit great with plenty of clearance on the inside. Heres a few pics I snapped...

I'd seen a WRB wagon down the road from my aunt and uncle in Pacifica before, pretty sure now it's yours! Looking real good.

That's coming together great man. I wish I could afford to run some flares.

How much that motor build set you back. I've got an 18gxt in my garage right now. I didn't install it for the very reason you ran in to... boom. Trying to decide what to do with my motor. Rebuild it but do it slightly built. Get an EJ255 long block. Do a built hybrid. Driving me nuts. My power goals are low. I essentially want something that car run 330-350 but I'll have it at more like 285. Long term. I don't need huge power.

This car will see some road courses, drags, and some normal daily commutes to work. Enough through out the year to get my fix and have some fun with it in my free time. I got a real problem keeping my hands off cars. Alot of the stuff I do is because I love working on cars mostly and making them perform better. My family owns a hot rod shop that I used to work at growing up and this is how I get my fix now that I work behind a computer during the day.
