Please don't think I am being a dick, cause really I am just screwing around....
...but up here in the middle of nowhere we have these places called hardware and autoparts stores. They are amazing, magical places, filled with all kinda of unique and impossible to find parts (what a stupid statement lol). OK, /stupidity
ANYWAY, while not really related to your engine build, I picked up that brand new AVCR for $300 shipped :RockOn - not mine:

SWEET!!!! You won't be sorry. I want to help you install it so call me up. It will take us maybe 30 mins.
So I guess my pistons are finally done! I guess they were @ JE the whole time they just needed the coating. Greg said they will be in Hayward Monday and he will get them out with my bearings and rings as soon as they arrive. I should have them Tuesday since UPS is one day usually to the bay (or anywhere else in Cali).
I CANT WAIT FOR MY CAR TO RUN!!!!!!111!!!

Do you think you will need your intake manifold by Saturday? I am doing my 30k and all the other stuff that day, so I can have mine to you by that evening or Sunday.
Although I suppose that by now you don't want to deal with painting it or whatever you had planned....but I am up for whatever. And I welcome the AVCR help.

I am hoping to start putting it back together next weekend. If the parts come tues and I can get my block to Fortucky I am sure S&H will have it done by Friday. We will see though, who knows what will actually happen lol. Sunday would probably work fine. Supposed to get some sunshine next week.
I still want a black im but I am not going to stall the project too long for it, I miss my car!!!!!!!

Oh, by the way, if you don't have your clutch pulled off and stashed inside you might want to. Dude with the white 30r STI had his clutch stick to the pressure plate cause it sat outside for 6 months after his accident. I am sure your clutch is in a lot better shape, but just something to think about.

Haha I knew that would come up. Hey I haven't started crap since I got this account and I plan to keep it that way. Hopefully the mods will understand I have not made one rude or bad comment in over 3 months.
