Imprezzy-

It depends on the specifics of your swap since some people want different setups. Shoot me a PM, his pricing is pretty affordable... less than Garage Tuning.

subiedon-

Thanks for the support, check up to post #71 for why I didn't go to S-Squared.

Was scheduled to pick up the car tomorrow but looks like it won't be happening till Saturday or maybe Monday if he needs more time. No biggie, doing these conversions are no easy task so I don't mind.

Alright the shop has been behind schedule so not much I can do about that. Went by there today and picked up my old EJ25 since a member on here is buying it from me. As of now you can see below car has no motor. Tomorrow the crossmember should be pulled and replaced with the new one and the EJ20 is planned to get dropped in.

After many delays that I wont bother to get into the car is nearing completion. Timing belt has been changed, turbo crossmember swapped in, interior wiring basically finished still needs one more engine connector wired up. Engine is all ready to be dropped in soon once the last bit of wiring is done.

Welp I was supposed to be picking up the car tomorrow but there are a couple parts left that I didn't supply the shop with(totally my fault). Both front and rear o2 sensors and the EGT sensor. They can get the front o2 and EGT tomorrow from the dealership but won't be able to get the rear o2 till Wednesday because my EJ20 is a 09/01 motor and the dealership didn't have the right kind of o2 sensor for that production date. Looks like it will be Thursday when I get the car.... *sigh*

Motor has been installed and mostly everything is connected. Few issues though. They could not get the RS power steering pump to work with the wrx motor. So I'm picking up a used wrx power steering pump this Thursday for free. o2's and EGT will go in tomorrow. Lastly, I'm missing the connector that plugs into the fuel pump controller. Not sure what to do about this cause the dealership won't sell just the connector alone... you gotta buy the whole part of the harness for that which is really expensive. So things will be on hold till I can somehow locate a connector or figure out some other way to connect the wires to the fuel pump controller.

Haha, luckily that didn't have to be done. Subenick saved my *** and located a fuel pump controller harness for me (thanks again!!!) and it just got wired into the car today. The new power steering pump should go in tomorrow and I'm expecting to be driving the car home on Wednesday.

GT Automotive is doing my swap. The shop is owned by Kevin Thomas, former 4yr. employee of Santa Cruz Subaru.

Talking Hey hey!!

Got my conversion back today, I'm soo stoked. Everything still works fine including my keyless entry, alarm and cruise control. One slight issue is the car is thowing a CEL for "automatic transmission failure" except I have a 5spd and got my 02 WRX ECU from a 5spd, so I don't even know why its doing that. Putting that aside, the car feels totally different and so much more powerful but I haven't gone past 4K on shifts yet. My clutch is still breaking in so it shudders going into 1st and reverse. It should be better though after it gets driven ~500 miles. So for now I'm just taking it easy. More pics to come this is just a quickie I took in the shop today.
