im using stock sway bar.... using the wrx bushings... didnt think they would fit but when u tighten it down its all nice and snug. for the control arm ur gonna need 2 washers becasue the wrx crossmember is slightly wider... once you tighten that down it will all be snug with no gaps... i would figure that tthe fuel pump would run off the ecu so it wouldnt matter if i had a walbro or a wrx pump... but then again i guess i need some controller or somthing... oh well hopefully ill figure this out soon.. let me know if u find out any more info

Not much has been going on with the car latley. I changed my tranny fluid so it's shifting super smooth now with the mixture I put in. I was told work on m ej20 should begin this week so I'm still waiting till I can get the motor in my hands. Some other things I need to take care of soon are replaing my tranny sensor seals, air filter, brake booster and some new brake pads. Thinking of going with Hawk HPS this time. For now here's a few recent pics:

Recently I installed a new RS brake booster and reintalled the original MC that was in the car. In addition to this I upgraded the rear brakes to the Legacy H6. They have the same amount of contact area for the pads but are about 1'' larger than the stock rotors. Apparently LIC has been really backed up so Adam has not had a chance to work on my motor yet. Hopefully soon... I'm trying to be patient lol. Last Sunday's drive up Mt. Hamilton gave me a chance to break in the H6 rears.

Wink Finally picked up WRX motor

After what seemed like ages I went with my friend today up to LIC motorsports to pick up my ej20. Compression is back to normal and there should be no more issues with it. Here's just the basic info:

02 USDM EJ20 w/ 40K miles

extras:
Vishnu lightweight pulley
Samco Y pipe (black)
EGT sensor installed

This afternoon I threw on my Helix up pipe

I haven't updated much latley...

Everything is pretty much ready for install. I was originally going to have S-Squared do my swap but they have thier hands full with too many projects as of now. I've decided to have another i-club member and myself do the mechanical part of the swap then bring the car to LIC to have Adam wire it up. Probably won't get the motor in for another two weeks or so. I'll try to post some more pics before the car goes under the knife. Then obviously a whole bunch of pics once the project is completed!

Well once again there has been a change in direction. The guy who was gonna help me no longer answers his phone or emails. I've came into contact with a guy in Santa Cruz who is going to do my entire swap for me. He used to be a Subaru mechanic at a dealership but just opened his own shop recently (no not AHQ Kevin). Anyways he had already done conversions before and is more than willing to do mine. Planning to drop the car off at his shop next Saturday.

My car is now in the hands of G.T. Automotive, Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair. They specialize in conversions / engine swaps of all kinds so I feel I have gone to the right place. My car is estimated to be completed before September 18th, man I can't wait!!! More updates to come later this month.
