Hey its RBP (rally blue) mang =p Oh and next mod = Whiteline swaybar brackets. You need to get a projects thread going for your L, you already have a good start on it.

Ghetto battery install.... but not for long

Ever since I got my Hawker Odyessy battery its been ghetto-rigged in my car with these foam blocks and wooden shim. Luckily my friends step-dad works at a machine shop so he welded me up a sick box to mount the battery in. If all goes well I'll lose the foam blocks and the battery box will be mounted very soon. BTW the battery I bought can be found at www.portablepower.com and it weighs 13.5lbs vs 31.5lbs for the stock battery.

Custom battery box installed

Well tonight with the help of Long_Travel_WRX the battery box got welded in to my car. I'm pretty happy with it but it might need some of the welds touched up since the gas tank was running really low. Anyways thanks James for all your help. Now I just need to see if MPJ has finally got the dern Whiteline swaybar mounts in yet I can get those on the car *crosses fingers*

Today I managed to get the Whiteline heavy duty swaybar mounts installed along with a larger Helix 22mm adj swaybar. Decided to paint it blue because I just wasn't feelin the purple swaybar look, also painted my helix endlinks black while they were off. In addition I went ahead and installed the factory security upgrade.

Not like this was a big deal but I swapped out my OEM lugs for some black Muteki lugs that I picked up today. On stock wheels for now but should look alot better once I put my SDR's back on in spring.

My next idea was to put on a SS clutch line... after that, EJ20 swap. I already have some parts but need to hoard everthing together first, then hopefully swap mid to late next year. Thats when the REAL fun will begin...

edit: not to be misread, the car is already a blast to drive the way it is.... but as always needs more power (which NA bolt on mods cant do much of)
