I love those brakes and I was wondering if those steering wheels are different than the 05's?

can't believe it. subaru put the 4piston front/2piston rear setup on regular wrx's? boy. thats a shocker. thought for sure they considered the current 2piston/1 piston sliding caliper setup good enuf and much cheaper. guess that means all those people ditching their brakes for big brake kits will now be flooding the market with used 4/2 pistons setups could be good for the rest of us. wonder if the rear hubs are now different to accomodate the 2 pistons or if they modified the caliper to fit our US wrx setup (bolt on for older wrx's finally)? hmmm....

not a real fan of the front 3-grill setup. the headlights are nice tho. the front end's a bit pointy for me... kinda going pontiac-ish. they're traveling away from subau's old not-so-pretty-but-agressive-and-mean look.

+1

I went to check out the new WRX this weekend, but the didn't have any at Ron Price. I wanted to see the Steel Gray Metallic. They did have it on the 06 Forester, but I am pretty sure it's not the same one from the Japan/UK Subarus. It doesn't look like 86F.

I also drove by the SJ dealership just to see if they had any of the new 06 WRX there - didn't look like it.

I can't wait to see them in the flesh (especially the Wagon)

according to Ron Price's website they had an 06 wagon there. although, i went to a dealer here in socal that has 3 STi's and a WRX sedan listed on their website and they only have one STi there. wonder if they're sold or in transit. anyhow. i might head to south coast subaru today where i saw a steel gray wrx wagon (but i remember it being auto) and sedan on saturday morning so i'll try to remember to bring my camera. can't wait until i get my steel gray manual wagon!
