flash drive, external, cd anything will work just make sure not to put the infected file onto the backing up device.

Boy my home PC seems to be having troubles lately. I think i have the "XP Anti-Virus 2011" or "XP Internet Security 2011" malware. What's the fastest/easiest way to get rid of this S**T?!?

it's a fake anti-virus program that's telling me my PC is infected and to buy the software to get rid of it. I currently can't open Malewarebyte's Anti-Malware : (

Yes! it's good to go now...only now if i try to open up a program i'm prompted to choose which program i want to use to open the file. For example, i'm trying to run super anti-spyware again and it won't open. It opens up a window for me to choose a program to open the file.

Did i delete something i shouldn't have? Also, do i need to reverse the proxy server settings?

If you need anti-virus and have a 'legit' version of M$ Window$ running then I suggest you get Microsoft Security Essentials.

Link: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Low resource and it takes care of itself.

Don't use it if you are using 'free' M$ products.
