Doesn't matter as long as you don't drive the car with the new turboback on without the stage 2 map.

Flash map then install tbe

Install tbe then flash map

It's the same. As long as you don't drive the car with boost without the new map (with the new exhaust on) you are fine.

It's an '02. No tuning required.

But it's still highly recommended to take advantage of what you've got.

No. 2002-2003 WRX (and some will say the 2004 STI) do not need tuning for a downpipe. Bugeyes do not have the open loop, closed loop fueling transition delay that was added for emissions purposes in the '04s. But not tuning it means you're missing out on tons of performance gains.

As brfatal said no need to tune with those mods on 02/03 but is suggested to get you MOAR POWA! Also a dyno tune will help you get the most out of that Ap i would also suggest a cat less up pipe to if you have not already done that since you are pulling the down pipe off now would be the time to do it.

A catless up-pipe is required for stage 2.

Whose ecu tuneup system are you using"

If you are are only adding a downpipe cat or catless you won't even need a tune. Your O2 sensor will adjust nicely. Even if you add an aftermarket up pipe and center pipe in the exhaust it won't have much of an effect on the tuneup. If you have already spent the money on a Cobb Accessport unit you can download two or three maps that will improve the basically stock engine state of tune. Read the Accessport instructions and you will have no problem iniating a map.

However, every subaru will perform better if you have it professionally tuned. Good luck!
