stoptech stage 2 upgrade n subaru 4-pot

If I get the stoptech stage 2 upgrade which includes slotted front and rear rotors, lines, fluid and pads, could I eventually put subaru 4-pot calipers on the front? and do the 4-pots fit with stock 02 wrx wheels?

****, ok well guess im gonna have to use the stock calipers for a lil while. i dont feel like spending money on aftermarket wheels when id rather spend it on suspension upgrades and brake upgrades (plus i think im going for the sleeper look look untill im done with engine mods suspension mods and brake mods.)

Actually, the older sti's used to come with 4 pots that are the same size as our stock calipers right now. You can check these guys out http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/wrx-braking.html The only place I found so far to have them on sale

Those calipers will NOT fit stock WRX wheels without a spacer. They will however fit 2001 and older RS wheels.

your new pads wont fit in those calipers, if you want to stay with a stock look get some 98- 01 RS wheels. they are 16X7 and will clear the 4 pots. or you can run a 3mm spacer and keep your stock rims

The 4 pots would work with your new rotors, but you would have to get new pads with the calipers. The stainless steel lines are the same too. Liek the other said, your stock wheels won't clear them, but running 3-5mm spacers would be fine if you didn't want to get different wheels. Almost any 16" wheel or the old RS wheels would work fine.

I have 4 pots with what is essentially a Stoptech Stage 2 setup. For track and autocross I run Stoptech Club Spec pads with slotted Stoptech rotors, Goodridge stainless lines, and ATE fluid. The Club Spec pads have great bite for autocross, and I've never been able to fade them at the track (granted, just 2 events on them, but still...). For street use I run Axxis Deluxe Plus, which are super cheap, super quiet, and zero-dusting. They would fade pretty easily even on a semi-spirited mountain drive, but I know that, so I swap pads if I plan to push the car at all for any reason.
