i have a 93 impreza l 1.8 i want to upgrade to a 2.2 twin turbo will the motor fit in my car? and if so what will i need to do to get the new motor to run right?

i have look at many different motors and stuff and i have no idea because everything i have found say nothing about upgrades of any sort.

Save money and do a Sti swap, a 2.2l is gonna cost you out the *** money and getting a edu that will work right with your car

OK so what you need is an exhaust manifold and plubing

there was one JDM subaru that had a twin turbo set up i think. i forget im not even 75% sure

so the next route is get a 2.2T motor out of a 90-93 USDM turbo legacy. they are a little hard to find

next up is custom plumbing. exhaust intercooler coolant and oil.

as far as the ECU and wiring harness that depends on the heads either STi with the avcs or just wrx heads
