Sure. I'm into pain. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't to hard. I think it will be easier than what we did Saturday. It does depend on the weather though.

Supposed to be some showers up there today and tomorrow? Sunny but in the low 60s Thursday.

Earlier a TV station said it might rain Thursday. It looks like they changed their minds. It now looks like fairly sunny but chilly. It looks good for a ride.

It would take a lot of rain to make it to bad as dry as it is now. The forecast is showing only light rain possible.

It looks like we will have just enough rain to kill the dust that was beginning come back. I should be perfect. Well except for the one mud hole just outside the parking lot. It looks like a 3 lap day to me.

Sweet. I just have to be home by 230 or so, so figuring an hour per lap, with some goofing off, that should put us right about 1. We can check our progress when we finish lap 2.

It didn't rain much until this afternoon, then we had kind of moderate rain.

I just got off the phone with Matt and we have decided to cancel tomorrow's Olmstead ride. Saturday's Connector and FHLT is still on. It will be drier and warmer then.

I'm tired basically. Just been killing myself lately between work and classes, wanted a break. My wife has been off all week and wants me home tomorrow, etc. Oh and it's gonna be cold

Looking forward to sleeping in, frankly (9 am)

I just decided this morning to ride Olmstead today even if Matt can't come. I'm going to make it 10:00 though so hopefully it will be warmer. The sun is not up yet to know for sure, but it looks like it's fairly clear up here. If anybody else wants to ride an early Turkey Day ride to work up an appetite for all that turkey, you can join me. I will probably do two laps unless it's real nasty in which case it will be one lap. I expect it to be fine for two laps.

8:10 update. It's very sunny up here!

Just so you guys know why it's so easy for me to get away to ride. My wife and I have a home business which means we are home together all day every day. Also my only "child" is grown and gone. So when I say I want to ride, I'm sure she wants some time alone once in a while and is glad to get rid of me.

It wasn't always like this, so I fully understand when you guys want family time and don't want to ride.

Sorry Randy I got your message too late, so I thought no one was riding. Hope you had a good one today...

So for Saturday, who is in?

9 AM? Connector + FDLT. Second lap of FDLT for anyone who wants to.

Nelson, I'm sorry you got the message to late. It turned out that conditions were excellent. No mud execpt for the one just past the parking lot and it's not to bad. It doesn't look like Olmstead got much rain. Just to enough to make it tacky and kill any dust. There were more bikes than normal and only one pair of horses.

9 AM Saturday works for me Matt.
