There's a really good organic restaurant in Tahoe called sprouts really popular with the locals plus has a big parking lot off on side??

 

I was thinking that there might need to be a second meeting spot in Folsom or Placerville for those peeps up that way. If not I wouldn't mind giving you a call as we get near so you could merge in as we move through.

Yes! I was thinking the same exact thing since we have some members from Folsom/ElDoradoHills. So for all the people who met up earlier near the Rancho Cordova area we can get a location for the Folsom/ElDoradoHills member to meet off a exit closer to Placerville.

 

This is a good idea and I vote Placerville. We should have the first group meet up with the second group at the Shell station at 151 Main Street. Coincidentally this is also the last e85 stop on the way to tahoe

 

I'm out of town may 17-25. Should be able to make it anytime after that.

thinking leaving on a sat morning would be better than friday afternoon/evening as well.

Well the 31st is a good 2+ weeks away gives everyone a good amount of time to start preparing and getting their cars ready. I am trying to get a date where majority of us can go.

You have plenty of time to request off/trade shifts. I work weekends, so I'm lame for that. Ha

 

I agree that a longer drive like this would be better on a Saturday morning. That way we wont feel rushed once we get to tahoe, and we can do the lunch thing... Anyone know if there are any big events happening in tahoe this weekend that would cause us to hit major traffic the morning of June 1st? ... or even Friday night for that matter? A quick search yeilded a Renaissance Faire on the 1st and a charity bike ride on the 2nd... Those look to be the two major ones that weekend... may be something to consider when choosing a date.
