Gst, db, eq any tuning shop that builds motors. Btw there's a meet tomorrow at del Monte 4pm in the back if anyone wants to go. Set up by Chris
So I took the turbo off and everthing to replace the stupid *** return hose and then when I finally get everything back together white smoke is billowing out of exhaust and the turbo. I know when I took the turbo off some coolant fell down the uppipe but I dont think this would cause so much smoke. Idk. something must be leaking oil? maybe the hose didnt get on properly IDK...really tired and frustrated.
2-24-13 is the first autocross! Who's going?

cancelled :\
FO February 24, 2013 AutoX Date at Marina Cancelled
We have been waiting for word of what is going on with the Marina Airfield site and permit situation with the City of Marina. We are sorry and deeply disappointed to report that the City of Marina did not take up the topic of the permit nor begin the permit process in January as had been anticipated after the emergency meeting. We had decided at that time, in light of our January cancellations that we would wait until the yearly permit was done before we started our season. We had hoped that the City would move on the process in January and the process would be complete prior to our event in February.
Since this is not the case, we are staying with our decision to NOT put on an event until the permit is in place and we understand what new rules will be required.
Our site liaison, Marina Motorsports, has informed us at this time that there will be an additional waiver that each site entrant must sign prior to entering the site. This has been brought about by the lawsuit filed by someone who was hurt at a BMW Club event. We will have to institute a new procedure with regard to waiver signing to ensure that every single person entering the site signs all of the waivers: UFO event insurance waiver, City of Marina waiver and Marina Motorsports waiver. No one will be allowed into the paddock area until all of the waivers are signed. We will stop all vehicles entering the property along the fence line inside the gate for waiver signing, a procedure similar to what is already practiced by American Autocross.
There may be more changes forthcoming. We hope to be able to put on an event in March and continue with our planned season thereafter. Stay tuned...

i'm confused...
To clarify the NORCAL UFO Autocross situation with the Marina location: UFO is waiting for the yearly permit process to be done which we hope will be in time for the 24th of February UFO event. We will post up as soon as we have the permit / contract in place and know positively that the event is on.
Others using the site in the mean time are operating on a temporary permit which was not in place in time for our January events.
Thanks a million,
Peggy
