I think this a noob question but would it hurt my engine to run 10w-30 on it when it barely has 52,xxx miles.. also when should I change my tranny fluid? It also has the same miles.

I would stick with the 5w-30/40, I think tranny fluid lasts quite awhile but I could be wrong.

I run 10W-40 sometimes. It won't hurt the motor at all.

Nice good to know thanks guys. Just still curious about the tranny fluid change. I don't want to miss on this sweet deal for a full royal purple change on motor and tranny.

Looks like the interval is every 30k. So I would go for it if its a deal.

I've been using 5w40 on my car since 4k miles lol. Amsoil just switched to a new formula and it's $40 for.5 quarts with shipping and tax. Not bad.

I was using royal purple till my mechanic recommended motul 5w40. I get the big jugs for $40 at car quest.

Also: I am in for a run. I drive slower than my grandmother though.
my grandmother used to race quarter midgets though

That's insane... pretty much every performance shop throws them away. I just saw paul from FW tossed one last week.

I wouldn't pay more than $25 for an STI up pipe.

As for a nameless one... some of them are made like crap. Just get the STI. It's just as good and is much more sleeper.
