Hey dont hate on the bov... I have it and love the sound.. You may like your stock sound but I love my hks bov lol

I hate the way those things sound. I hate when people drive around blowing them off and I hate the way they function. I've had a couple on my car. Got old quick. I like the aftermarket ones when they're needed. I don't need one. Stock holds plenty of boost. And I like the non obnoxious ones. Forge makes a good one. I ran the APS for a minute and I got tired of it.

 

I like the sound they put out..I only have one for sound ... Be we all have diff taste...only reason I wouldnt run one is if my tuner told me it was bad for my car and Ed told me it wasn't needed but didn't hurt my cars performance only enhanced the bov sound.. Wich is fine with me..

 

Overflow tank. Neo crome . And I can find any on eBay just the oil cap

And on the pipes I wouldn't do black. It would all blend together. Either wrinkle red or white.

 

Boost leaks. Boost creap. Vacuum leaks. All things I've seen regularly with the HKS BOV.

OR get a tune and (no boost creep, no boost leak, No idle problems, and how installing a bov on the end of a pre existing vacuum hose causes other vacuum leaks in system I honestly will never know...) just saying

I run a BOV also, f*&% the haters.

My stock one with my intake is plenty loud for me. But then again I'm still on the stock exhaust.

 

Agreed ... The "myth" .... I ran a bov on my 04 STi Gst tuned, no issues... My 06 STi eq tuned, no issues ... I think people over trip/ hear it from others so jump on the band wagon (don't mean you Ray, don't want yah thinking this is towards you and get drama). Everyone likes THEIR cars their own way.. Some of us like bov's... Straight pipes hehe, Hella Flush look...melon shooters ...I'm sure not everyone likes the stock look.. Or my green crimson black.. Gold rims on wry.. Gold rims on white... OUR MT. Madonna crew is unique like that ... That's why we all get along so well in our meets.. No one hates/ talks down on eachothers cars.. Force OUR likes on others..

 

Yes I do Jody, it's not overly loud but it's definitely there I had one on my DSM, and my EVO as well. Never an issue, a poor tune is an issue. Not a BOV.
