But this is I-clUb not NASIOC and this is the mt. Madonna thread.
So let's stop hating and flaming. Everyone that's goes on meets regularly gets along great. Let's keep it that way. Thank you.

to all the naysayers out there that ask whats the point or say thats ridiculous and so on here is what im talking about.. not to mention that some time attack cars run wider wheels/tires.. keep in mind he's running 10.5's in +18
this car is also for sale on nasioc.. but he has the exact same fender flares that im getting from karlton.. im going to mold mine more into the body though..

I'm not sure if you're misunderstanding my comments from before. I haven't been paying attention.
My comments where that no stock rendered car should be running wheels that wide. In order to run them people end up with stupid camber setting and insanely stretched tires. To me there is no point to that. It looks silly and hurts performance. If you are adding flares like this car or a wide body kit and intend to run proper camber setting and proper tires then more power to you... in fact I'd love to see it. Big tires FTW!
And yes track cars and time attack cars run wider wheels because they're running wider fenders and wider tires. They don't sacrifice performance for looks. It's all about function.
If you notice... the white car you posted has a LOT of camber. More camber than a street car would/should have but that's because it's a track car. And you'll also notice there is a substantial more camber on the front and the rear. That car is dope as hell.
What you usually see is guys running massive rear negative camber, very little in the front, and running waaaay stretched tires so they can run these super wide wheels.
that's what my point was. The photo you showed of the wheels you were looking at was on a stock fendered car. Running that set up is retarded.
as for the BOV issue. Don't get me wrong. I like the sound. But I drive a lot and it gets old and I don't like the added attention of my BOV sounding off. I run an SPT intake... the two combined are loud. Even on a 100% recirc bov.
I ran the APS and that is a really nice unit. Got boost creap. I ran an HKS for ****s and giggles. I got boost creap.
The only one I'd put on my car at this point it the forge and it would only go on once my motor is built and I'm pushing the boost that could use it.
Running BOV's like the HKS (loud) and running them at partial circ or full atmosphere is silly. But to each their own. To me it just comes off ricer.
In the case of the car pictured he clearly needs something there.. I just would have gone with something different because I hate the sound of the HKS. LOL.
