Yeah I thought people would be like... woah that's amazing.
Me personally... I think the dude is a friggin moron. Paint a bunch of sub par product all over your brand new car. Stupid and it looks like ***. If he wanted flat black and protection he should have spend the dough to have it wrapped.
I'd venture to guess he spent $200 on cans of plastic dip for that plus tape and cleaning supplies if he did it right. Could have bought the vinyl and diy'd it for under $400.
There are way too many mixed reviews on plastic dip to be spraying that on a brand new car. Stuff gets into the cracks and can be a pita to remove. Especially if it's a thin coat.
Plus... it just looks like poo.

For real! And he's gonna be really sorry if he skimped and put thin coats on. A lot harder to deal with when it's thin and less protection so there's really no point.
Man... thinking about it... that's a boat load of extra. When I primered the roof and trunk of my caddy it was like 3 cans I think and I went thin on the roof. Had to be at least 5-6 cans of the stuff even going thin on that car. I've got one can at home and that was gonna be for my dash pieces and I don't even know if that would have been enough. LOL.. .If figured 2-3 cans for wheels. Car I would have figured... 10 cans or a full case.

Going flat can make a car look "mean". Can also make it look like ****. That one looks weird. It's like they went to orchard and bought a case of the cheapest black primer they could buy. I like matte paint jobs when they're done right and in the right settings.
That looks like one of the test cars. Like they're trying to hide something. You loose the curves of the car... etc. And it really brings out those terrible tail lights. I would have gone with a satin black vinyl wrap and a light smoke on the tail lights or a red overlay and cleared the headlights.
But I'm insanely **** about stuff like that so that's just me. LOL! If one thing looks out of place my eye stops and I end up hating it.

Couldn't find it. Picts or shans!
I think it's dumb. Doing a part here or there. Even wheels could be smart. If the wheels don't have too many nooks and crannies and the paints in good shape it's a good way to protect them for a winter or see if you like a certain look. (I'm tinkering with doing it to test a look on my car)
But doing whole cars is crazy talk.
I'd rather vinyl wrap it.
Seriously can't believe they have a car kit like that... nutty.
