if you get a 9 wrap it in a 255 or 265. its function to semi stretch but still far from a good idea to push your car being on a stretched tire at all.

The only thing that sucks is the car doesn't really make power early it makes it around 4k and up. The high CR is the only downer. I'm very interested in seeing how long the block lasts. Also remember those numbers are on a dynojet (high reading) car would probably make 300hp on a Mustang.

Yeah... I think it's a terrible set up myself and there is no way in hell that's accurate readings. Dynojets are worthless POS. Put that thing on a mustang and it will be substantially lower.

What really matters is before and after. Put the car on the dyno for base. Then show the gains. Those are where the accuracy lies and what really matters.

Me personally... I'd rather see a supercharger on one of these and some built heads. HP "numbers" would be lower but the performance would be much funner.

Or just wait until subaru produces a turbo version that has the right ratios. LOL.

I'm right there with you OneManArmy Dynojets suck. On EQ's heart breaker mustang 2009-2012 WRX/STi's put down in stock form 190-200whp. On Cobb OTS stage 2 tune they put down 240whp and 240wtq. With the TP maps i put down 265whp/277wtq. So from stock form i gained about 65whp/77wtq over stock on 91 **** octane. Ed said he's easily get me another 20hp/20wtq because the tune is still very rich, on E85 i'm looking at 335whp/390wtq ball parked he said based on mods and a 2009 WRX he did.

Personally i'd also supercharge the BR-Z/FR-S. I think the car would respond better and be able to use istant power instead of waiting till 4k. Meh i'm with u on waiting to buy a boosted model.

they already have a boosted FA20 for the jdm legacy gt, only difference is the shortblock which as far as im aware makes most of the difference when youre going from NA to boost.

I really wanna dyno my car
just dont wanna drive over an hour just to do that.

thinking about going stage 2 with a cobb dp...but im not sure if its worth it.
tunes are $$$

Wait for one of the dyno days? Then at least you're driving for a pull on the dyno AND a meet?

Maybe next year I'll be able to set up a dyno AT BAM.

Ya i think a protune would be best since im hybrid. I know cobb has a map for hybrids but it seems like something that really needs to be custom tuned. I contacted EQ months ago and a hybrid tune is nearly 600 bucks....so idk.
