That's the easy part. Just put a battery in the coolant line. Mike said $200 to do it but I'd rather do it myself. Stupid no tools thing is irritating.
I need to keep this car running for a while longer so I can do this swap on my own terms hopefully AFTER I get the caddy running. I'll need something to drive for a week or two while the swap is completed.
I'd put the 18g on there but I think it would blow my motor to the moon. LOL. I plan on keeping it nice and clean for my new motor.

My scoob took a ride on a flat bed this morning, it's at Lugos towing getting looked at... My best guess is a blew a coolant line or radiator hose. Fingers crossed that it's not a major issue.

Looks like it was the upper coolant hose, shops going to replace upper and lower hoses and replace coolant then do pressure test for $254... I'm going to have them do it because my tools are in storage and I don't want to deal with recycling the coolant....

Honestly dude.... if it's just hoses it's an insanely quick job. You can do all subaru oem stuff for well under $100 and do it in under an hour.
but I know where you're coming from with no hose.
I would be very careful you're not throwing your money at the wrong thing though. Check the radiator. It's hard to see the crack unless it's under pressure... i.e. rev the motor.

Are you 100% sure it's the upper hose. The radiators split right where that hose connects.

That turbo is beast mode!
I'm seriously considering building that 22 in my shed. That way I can run my current ECU. I don't have to deal with wiring anything. Just use my heads (rebuilt) and a nice sturdy 2.2 closed deck block... Don't have to worry about B.A.R. either. Hmmmmm.
