If you swing by and can get cash I can meet up with you tonight and pay you back. I'd just bring your car by. More than likely they'll look at it right on the spot. They probably will be scarce around the phones as they're getting ready for the next track event and have a full docket of cars being worked on.... just swing by and have them check it out.
Might get lucky.

Not sure how much this dude is gonna flex. I may hold out for a better deal.
He's got one on his site for $3400 with no PS/AC and no intercooler or front 02 sensor. I can reuse my AC and PS so no big deal. That's normal. But the o2 sensor is gonna run me at least $150 to replace and the intercooler is $250-350. So that's $4000 right there.
Then you need the ECU and the harnesses. There's a dude on nasioc selling one of the harnesses for $100. I can find the other one for about $200. The ECU for a bit more. I'm right up to $4500.
He said he has one complete like I asked.... with all the stuff listed above for $4500 shipped. He said he'd knock $200 off for shipping but it'll cost me $100 and a full day to go down and get it. So it's kinda not worth it.
I'll poke around and see what I find. $4500 isn't outrageous for the entire swap but I'm hoping for $3500-4000.
I really want the whole car... grrrrr. Partially because I want to trade the seats for those sparco's in the classifieds. LOL. My seats are shotski.

Word....
I'm just trying to minimize long term expense. The motor is the smaller number up front... $5 verses $9k ish.
But the entire car has the smaller final number. I can scrap the crap parts for a couple hundred bucks. Body and glass makes money. Interior is $1000 easy for the whole thing. Suspension. Wheels. Brakes. Trans. Etc. I can sell all that stuff and pay back my loan and be out of pocket a lot less. Have to fight the 6spd temptation though. LOL. Hell going that route I could do the 5spd and still be out of pocket less in the long run.
I hate borrowing money. I'm gonna do a patchwork repair... turbo, up pipe and hope it'll hold together for a while. That will give me time to get the parts I'll need... clutch and all that isht. Any chance I can borrow you for the turbo install. lol!
