Yes and no... I would of had to put it back to stock in November for smog anyway. Could've borrowed parts but swapping out an "engine back exhaust" is a pita! I have just been enjoying the car as a daily driver. Next on the list is a compression/leak down tests and a 90k maint.

You having motor issues? Why the leak down?

Car...
$100 a head
Entry
$100 a head.
Roll cage
$500 a head
Seat and harnass
$250 a head
Helmet/suit/gloves
$500 a head
Extinguisher... 2.
$50 a head
Misc parts and repair... spare tires/wheels, etc.
$300 a head.
This is a minimum ball park of what it'll cost to get a car ready to go. This doesn't include time stripping the car and doing the other prep work.
That's $1800 a head plus fuel.
It would be a realistic expectation to spend $10,000-15,000.
That's what has always kept me from wanting to do it. Finding the car is easy. But For $2000 I can do probably 5 track days with my own car.
But like I said... if I could throw a couple hundred bucks at someone and be able to drive in lemons I'd do it in heartbeat.
