Yupp! 4 drivers! And a car not worth NO more then $500... My buddy asked me to do it with him.. So I was gonna see if there was two of you that wanted to join us to complete the 4 heads. But I rather do one with you guys if four of you are dwn... ($125 each dorca beater)
$500 for the car. Then several thousand for a proper roll cage. Then you need a certified seat. Certified restraints. A fire system. And you have to pass tech. And you need to spend the time and money prepping the car. Taking the glass out. Sound deadening. Stripping it. Fixing the brakes and any other crap wrong with it. Get the motor running killer. Etc.
More like $1500 a head.

Oh... and you need to remember that even though your car is a POS you're not going slow and there are a lot of other cars on the track. Driving at high speeds for hours without wrecking or hitting another wreck... not easy.

No doubt. I'm just letting you guys know it's not as easy as people think it is. OR as cheap.
If you've got fabrication skills then this is right up your alley. If you're just a bunch of guys that need someone else to build the car for you... no way. Too expensive. If you're an everyday dude with no track driving experience and what not I'd say you'll probably wreck or break the car.
I'd love to do it but I just don't have the time to build a car and I don't have the money to pay for a proper roll cage and seat. Not to mention gloves, racing suit and a nice helmet and a hans device. Do you guys own a hans device?
sorry to stomp on everyone's dreams. I'm just throwing it out there. If I could pay $125 and jump in someone's car and drive it I'd do it. Hell, if I could pay $500 and jump in someone's car I'd do it. Be a friggin blast.
